Papertrey Ink and My Favorite Things Bell Christmas Card

Hello everyone and welcome to another challenge over at ABC Christmas Challenges. How can we possibly be in May already? I hope you enjoyed the Mayday weekend sunshine and had some fun. We packed too much in and I'm looking forward to a more restful week to catch up with everything.

 Our themes this time are

J for Jingle Bells

and

K for Keep it Simple

Our Sponsor is

http://www.digistampboutique.co.uk/catalog/
http://digistampboutique.blogspot.co.uk/
and the prize is a £10 voucher.

Our lovely Hostess Samantha is also giving this gorgeous LOTV stamp as a prize too!

I went for Jingle Bells and came up with this card:-

1)Die cut a rounded corner rectangle using the stitched die from My Favorite Things Blueprints 31 set and some blue paper from the Lawn Fawn Let's Bokeh in the Snow paper pack.

2) Die cut the circle frame and stitched banner from the same Blueprints set.

3) Stamp, colour and die cut the bells and bow from the Papertrey Ink Bells and Boughs set, then add glitter and glaze to the bells with a glaze pen.

4) Stamp the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Joy to the World Stamp set and emboss it with white embossing powder.

5) Assemble the card by raising the bells on foam tape and mat the sentiment strip on some red card. Finish off with a couple of stars and a red heart.

You'll find lots of inspiration cards from my talented Teamies over on the ABC Christmas Challenge blog and you can link your entry there too.

  8. I love this! Also a bit envious that you're white heat embossing is so neat - I always manage to get unwanted specks of powder even with using an embossing buddy! Thank you for playing at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'. Tracey x
